Yet to make his Borussia Monchengladbach official debut, Austrian international wide midfielder Valentino Lazaro (24), interviewed by Kicker, stated: "I'm not thinking about my future, right now. I'm still waiting to actually start playing for 'Gladbach, and I want to help the club achieve their goals. I feel I'm fit, and I can't wait for the boss to pick me and line me up. Champions League? Anything's possible in such a competition. Both Shakhtar and us have just showed we can shoot for the start. It's clear, after what we managed to display against Inter Milan".

Former Hertha Berlin and Newcastle player is still on a parent-club deal with Neroazzurri until June 2023.
