Commenting upon the ongoing longlasting extension talks between Bayern Munich and Austrian international left-back David Alaba (28), German giants boss Hansi Flick stated: "I really hope he puts ink to paper on a new contract here, since he knows how good we are right now. There's a wonderful environment, where we're all having a lot of fun. We play successfully, and we manage to place ourselves among the greatest ones worldwide on a permanent basis. I know he's going to think more and hard about that. Anyway, it's our duty to respect his decision, whatever it turns out to be".

Alaba is tracked by Juventus, PSG, and most Premier League giants, while having expressed more than once his will to join either Barcelona FC or Real Madrid.
