Commenting upon Juventus victory over Serie A rookie side Spezia, after a string of underwhelming outcomes, Bianconeri 24-year old Brazilian midfielder Arthur stated:

"We needed these points, as well as providing a fine performance. It was a pivotal victory, allowing us to get some confidence, and to keep on working without losing it. I feel good physically, but I think I can give more. My teammates are helping me, as well as the boss, and I'm working to give my best for the team. I am surprised by the Italian league: there are many strong teams, with different types of play. However, Juve have a very ambitious project, which I like, and it was one of the reasons why I decided to come here".
