Answering to fans' direct questions, as broadcast by PSG TV, PSG head of football, Leonardo, stated:

"INJURIES - This is an important subject. It should be noted that all the clubs suffer and see their players injured. We see Ansu Fati in Barcelona, and Joshua Kimmich in Bayern. They are also young players. And it is the symbol of this year 2020. A year with an extraordinary context. We in France were deprived of competition for 4 months, this is an unprecedented situation in our modern football. We resume competition with two cup finals, then the Champions League. We must not forget that many players have also left for the selection, and have traveled a lot. The players who have made a real preparation are not injured, it is not necessarily a coincidence.

CONTRACT EXTENSIONS - There is a context that we cannot avoid, but we must be able to adapt. We are considering contract extensions for Di Maria, Neymar, Mbappé, Bernat and Draxler. There are even young players that we want to extend. We have started the discussions, and they should intensify in the coming weeks. I think now is the right time, and we are coming to a pivotal time for these renewals. We have a team with young players, but already very experienced, we will be one of the top teams for the next 5 years.

TRAINING - The idea is that young people from the Training Center can continue to play with the pro team. But without finding excuses, the training centers in France, it became more complicated, in particular because of legal constraints which do not exist elsewhere. We can only offer 3-year contracts, for example, to young people. And sometimes, because of that, we can't compete with other European clubs who want to take the trained, well-trained players from us. The rules for young people must be standardized at European level. And of course, we can always improve the performance of the Training Center, the new training center will allow us to implement the club methodology.

TRANSFER MARKET - I would have preferred to be able to consider the transfer window 3 months earlier than what we have been doing in recent weeks. But there was a containment, financial aspects not to be neglected and of course the absence of competition. This year is very special, we didn't even know if we were going to be able to make a transfer window. We had to find the right opportunities, and these often come at the end of the transfer window. Prices go down, players become available, and we can respond more effectively to the needs of the team.

RELATIONSHIP WITH THOMAS TUCHEL - The Club must always support its coach, but you also have to say things to each other when necessary. We had a discussion, we talked to each other, but we didn't like the fact that it was public. These are things that happen all the time, in all clubs. People may not agree on matters affecting the athlete, this is normal, it is the lot of all clubs. It is healthier to have a discussion. But it was never a question of replacing Thomas Tuchel, we must focus on the objectives, all going in the same direction, there are many beautiful things to live before Christmas, beautiful deadlines that require a real daily investment.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE - Despite a complicated start, qualification is of course still possible. The results of this group are a bit crazy, with teams winning and then losing everything is still very open. The next match against Leipzig at home is crucial, we have to prepare as well as possible. We would have preferred to win the first 3 matches, but everything is still playable.

THE FUTURE - I trust we can do fine. I know we have a great team, in an incredible city, with an incredible stadium. Our President is very present, he is very ambitious, this past year was not easy, but we won a quadruple and reached the final of the Champions League. When we look at the history of the club, we see that a lot of things have changed, evolved. And we have a lot of great things to look forward to for the future".
