Disappointed with Inter Milan having been knocked out from Champions League, by the 0-0 home tie against Shakhtar Donetsk, Neroazzurri goalie and captain Samir Handanovic, in the game aftermath, stated: "We mainly wasted our chance in Kyiv, rather than today. It was a well-balanced group round, and we could have done more and better. The truth stands with what happens on the ground, and the verdict has been drawn. We've been trying to score any way possible, but we didn't make it. Shakhtar were ok with a tie, we thought they wanted more from the match.

Anyway, there's no time to cry. Now we'll have to focus on both Serie A and the Italian Cup. Let's head towards our next game, the one against Cagliari".
