Interviewed by Sport Bild, 33-year old former German international midfielder Sami Khedira, addressed with his future destination, since being meant to step away from Juventus ranks, after five seasons and a half in, stated: "Sure, I'm eager to leave. I want to get to play, and I'm looking forward to a new challenge in my career. I want the ground beneath my feet, week by week, and I can't wait to be allowed to get on the pitch again. That's why I don't want to wait for current season to be over, before going for a change.
Moving back to Stuttgart? They are on a successful path indeed, playing Bundesliga, and I'm pondering over any proposal coming from German top-tier league. Joining Everton? I'm in touch with Carlo Ancelotti (who trained him, at Real Madrid, back in 2013/14 and 2014/15). We talk and write to each other. Nonetheless, I can end up joining any other club, not necessarily an English one".
