Meant to part ways with Stade Rennais last summer, basically for sure, Senegalese international winger/forward M'Baye Niang (turning 26 tomorrow, December 19) ended up sticking with Breton side, and, after a few month-long turmoil, gaining back the management's and the team's trust on him. To this end, former AC Milan and Torino player, during the latest club press conference he's been attending, stated:

"I'm in a very good mood. Scoring against Nice gave me a lot of confidence. Any football player could happen to go through what I did. But we talked everything out, and everything was made clear. I'm in very good terms with our boss, we are honest to each other. My future? I'm staying put, at least until current season's over. We'll sit and assess what's going once it's over".
