Playing for RB Leipzig since 2015/16, Austrian international attacking midfielder and German giants captain Marcel Sabitzer (26), heavily linked to Tottenham attention, might end up playing for his current parent club for a while more. To this end, Markus Krosche, RB Leipzig head of football, told Sport Bild: "We'll get to the core of renewal discussion come spring. No need to say many clubs are after Marcel, due to his rise". To date, Sabitzer is currently on a deal with Bundesliga top club until June 2022.
