AJAX veteran hitman HUNTELAAR: "Schalke 04 want me back, but..."

Asked by ESPN about his own future, former Dutch international striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (37), playing for Ajax, on his second tenure for the club, since 2017/18, talked about rumours addressing a Schalke 04 move-back scenario: "They notified me about being interested, and I've already been in talks with Ajax over that. It's hard to choose, since Ajax and Schalke are the clubs I love more in the whole world. I think Ajax would let me leave, if I wanted to. Joining Schalke would be more of a feeling-driven choice, since I could end my career winning titles and fend into European competitions, if staying put".
