Asked about Joan Laporta having been elected Barcelona FC chairman again, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, ahead of upcoming match against Southampton commented: "I want to submit president Laporta my congratulations, upon his naming. His personality is going to rise the mood up. I wish him the best, for current season and the ones ahead of us". Laporta was the one who entrusted Pep first, by naming him first-team manager, back in 2008.
