BUNDESLIGA - RB Leipzig planning new attempt at Lyon playmaker Cherki

Recently making his debut for French U21 national team, by immediately scoring two goals, 18-year old French-Algerian attacking midfielder and winger Rayan Cherki is still a target for RB Leipzig, according to latest German news, highlighted by Transfermarkt.de.
Playing for Olympique Lyonnais first team since January 2020, Cherki had been a Les Gones development area member since 2010, back when he was barely seven years old. The 2003-born has so far capped 49 times as a pro club player, scoring seven goals therein, and has previously been inquired about by both Juventus and Real Madrid. Cherki is currently on a deal with Ligue 1 giants until June 2023.
