LIGA - An English suitor serious about signing Barcelona's Pedri

Liverpool are serious about signing Pedri sooner rather than later and could well be set to offer €100m for the footballer. However, the Blaugrana are determined to keep hold of their prized possession and are hoping to tie him down to a new contract.

Spain international joined the Catalan giants from Las Palmas last summer and has since made staggering progress in his career. While Pedri was widely regarded as a talented teenager before his arrival at Barcelona, the Spanish midfielder has still been quite positively shocking with the kind of levels he has shown with his display.

That is why it is hardly surprising that Pedri is already a crucial figure for the Blaugrana as well as the Spanish national side. In fact, his role has grown so much that the 18-year-old midfielder has played close to 70 matches in the past year for club and country.

The Spaniard’s growth has also alerted a few foreign teams who are now hoping to swoop him away from Barcelona, Liverpool being one of the suitors. The Reds had a rather quiet summer transfer window wherein they chose not to make too many improvements to their squad.
