REAL MADRID, Alaba will be signed even if Zidane leaves

David Alaba’s future is not depending on whatever happens with Zinedine Zidane. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Austrian full-back will be joining Real Madrid as a free agent after he leaves Bayern Munich. He’ll be the Merengues first new signing also if Zidane will decide to leave the club. The player and the club already signed and agreed a pre-contract last April. The 28-year-old will sign a 5-year deal with Galacticos and he will earn about €13m a year.

What will I miss the most? The locker room and my teammates, the fans at the stadium, the atmosphere in Säbener Straße where I initially spent two years in the youth accommodation. I will also miss the city of Munich where I have lived for 13 years now and which has become much more than a second home for me. My son was born in Munich, his grandparents live here, so there will always be a close bond.  Of course I leave Bayern with tears in my eyes but I can't wait for my future to come at the same time. It was not a decision against the club, but I have decided that I would like to do something new and take another step forward. To grow, you have to leave your 'comfort zone' - and I deliberately put that word in quotes because it could be misunderstood. At Bayern, expectations on the pitch are always extreme on the part of the management, in the locker room and also by themselves. I think maybe sometimes you have to take a leap into the unknown to grow and mature again. I wish Bayern the best. To win again, ”Alaba said.
