Standing out from FC Köln ranks, German U21 international winger Ismail Jakobs, turning 22 on August 17, is growing into a major target for AS Monaco. On their hand, French club management started talks over fetching the 1999-born into their roster.

Across his so far two first-team Bundesliga seasons, Jakobs capped 43 times overall, scoring three goals therein. Bearing a Senegalese heritage, from his father's side, the young player has besides capped nine times for German Under-21 national team.
