After 14 contested matchday in Ligue 1, no coach has been sacked by his club, despite a complicated start to the season. We can take the example of AS Saint-Etienne had to wait until the 13th day before winning his first meeting since the start of the season at the expense of Clermont (3-2) in an empty Cauldron, the management still trusting to his coach Claude Puel.

A first for the French championship, which has not seen any eviction or departure after 14 L1 matches for a decade. Indeed, we have to go back to the 2011/2012 financial year to see a coach lose his position after the 13th day: this was the case of Eric Roy, sacked by OGC Nice after a complicated start (2 wins, 5 draws and 6 losses).
