LIGUE 1 - PSG: Bernard Lama covers Kylian Mbappé with praise

In an interview with Le Parisien, the former goalkeeper of the France and Paris Saint-Germain team Bernard Lama was full of praise for the Parisian striker Kylian Mbappé, who made a sparkling start to the season, not only in club (8 goals and 12 assists in 17 meetings) but also in national team (7 goals and 4 assists in 5 matches).

The 58-year-old ex-player even considers that the native of Paris will not leave the club in the capital, he who is under contract until next summer with PSG and could therefore negotiate a departure this winter.

"We are not surprised by his talent. He is a smart, well-advised boy who knows how to question himself. I'm not sure he's leaving Paris at the end of the season. I would even advise him to wait a little longer because he has dreams, in particular that of participating in the Olympic Games, which will be held in Paris. I love him so much."

"He is one of the two players that I would not like to see leave PSG. He will continue to shine in view of his qualities and his mentality. But, youth sometimes leads to being impatient. He is still at the start of his career. Kylian is already an international star but in a few years with the retirement of Messi and Ronaldo, he will be THE star of world football. And I prefer to see him in Paris anyway (smile), ” he explained to the local daily.
