LIGA MX - Hector Moreno to sit out two weeks with injury
As reported by Monterrey with an official note on their Twitter account, Mexican international Hector Moreno will have to sit out at least two weeks with an injury.
The center-back suffered a muscular lesion on the thigh of his right leg that occurred during the Gold Cup final which Mexico lost to the United States. He was forced to exit in that game and now his debut with Monterrey will have to wait until at least Matchday 5, when Rayados will travel to the Estadio Azteca to face champions Cruz Azul. Moreno was one of the biggest signings in Liga MX this summer, and is sure to bring a lot of experience to a Monterrey backside that is looking to stabilize.
He arrived to Monterrey as a free-agent, after his contract with Qatari side Al-Duhail SC expired.
