MLS - Adrian Heath on his sides own goal against San Jose Eathquakes
San Jose vs Minnesota United game ended in a draw, with San Jose getting a red card and Minnesota United conceding an own goal. Head coach Adrian Heath on the own goal and if he saw enough defensively before the own goal stated that:
“Well, I pondered... The concern is that if you give the ball to [Cristian] Espinoza, he'll be impossible to stop after he's picked up some speed and momentum. That is his ace in the hole. That is why they are willing to pay such a high price for him. He's a capable player. He's a nightmare to play against. But I felt DJ [Taylor] handled him well in the first half after that. But, no, it's tough to sort your feet out when someone slams the ball across the field with such force. It's something we've seen a million times.”
