Since its inception, the fans of Major League Soccer's newest team have filled Q2 Stadium, regularly providing Austin FC one of the greatest atmospheres in the league at every home game.

The expansion team, on the other hand, has struggled to live up to such high expectations. The club's third consecutive loss and sixth in their past seven games came in a 2-1 setback to the Vancouver Whitecaps on Wednesday night. Austin FC has only won twice in eight games in their dazzling new home stadium.

“Right now, we're all open to criticism, and the team isn't playing well enough, and it's my job, and the staff's job, to bring the most out of them, and it's been disheartening for all of us,” coach Josh Wolff said after the game. “I believe we're all upset and sad for the fans, especially for me. Every one of these games is a labor of love for them.”
