Memphis Depay put up a stunning football display as he scored his first hattrick for the Netherlands against Turkey and drew level with Johan Cruyff’s 33 goal record for the country.

He is now joint-eighth on the list of all time top scorers with Cruyff and Abe Lenstra.
After the match, Depay said: “It’s great. I want to be in the top three of the top scorers list. They (Cruyff and Lenstra) are two legends, you can’t compare them to anyone. They have done so many things and put Netherlands on the map.”
