Following Spain's 2-1 defeat to Sweden, Luis Enrique was seen throwing the finger to a supporter who insulted the La Roja coach while wearing a Sweden shirt.
Despite the fact that there are no photographs or recordings of the incident, Luis Enrique was enraged because verbal abuse is not penalized in sports.
Luis Enrique has shrugged off the incident stating that:
"It is curious that you are more concerned with my gesture and not the verbal abuse that provokes it and you do not condemn it," Luis Enrique told the press conference ahead of Spain's game with Georgia as part of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.
