After a halftime formation change, Antonee Robinson and Ricardo Pepi scored their first international goals, Brenden Aaronson and Sebastian Lletget added late goals, and the US resurrected its World Cup qualifying campaign with a 4-1 win against Honduras on Wednesday night.

Pepi, 18, scored the game's first goal in the 75th minute after a pass from DeAndre Yedlin, another substitute.

Pepi became the 65th player to play for the United States since a loss to Trinidad & Tobago in October 2017 stopped a run of seven consecutive World Cup berths, and the 42nd under Berhalter.

Aaronson scored in the 86th minute after a silky cross from Pepi, and Lletget added his ninth international goal in the third minute of stoppage time as Catrachos fans booed and whistled.
