The slap suffered at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal (3-1) is far from going well for Tottenham supporters. It took a mediocre first period to let the Gunners score three goals and take an option on victory, Heung-Min Son's goal in the last quarter of an hour was not enough to cast doubt on their London rival. A third consecutive defeat in the Premier League (after Crystal Palace and Chelsea).

After the game, French and Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris took responsibility for recognizing their downgrade on Sunday afternoon:

“It’s frustrating and very disappointing. Now is the time to come together and keep going. The players were ready, but we lost control a bit. We lost our balance in the middle of the field. When you concede three goals in each of the last three league games, you can't hide the problems. But we are professionals. There is still a long way to go. We have to stay calm."
