AS Roma sealing the deal with Granit Xhaka
After quite the long negotiation, throughout which Arsenal turned them down a couple times, AS Roma are going to seal the deal on almost 29-year old Swiss international defensive midfielder Granit Xhaka. Leaving Gunners after five seasons in, former North London giants captain, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, is soon going to be on his way out, on an about 20 million euros transfer fee.
Possibly undergoing medical right after Euro 2020 campaign he's currently taking part into, Xhaka, previously approached by a bunch more clubs (including Inter Milan, Hertha Berlin, and former club of his Borussia Monchengladbach), is going to earn a 2.5 million euros annual salary, once joining Giallorossi, add-ons not included. The Swiss playmaker and the Italian side agreed on a 4-year deal.
