Donis Avdijaj has signed a contract with TSV Hartberg which will keep him at the club until 2023. Austrian Bundesliga side who finished 7th last season has signed former Kosovo International on free who was released in January this year by AEL Limassol. He is a Schalke 04 product who was once supposed to be a young prospect but his injuries limited his potential & haven't got much regular time in his former spells. Since leaving Germany he has played in the Netherlands, Turkey, Scotland & recently in Cyprus. He has also played in Austria with SK Sturm on Loan where he scored 9 Goals in 42 games.

Donis Avdijaj on the engagement in Hartberg: “I am really looking forward to the task in Hartberg. It's a great club that is very stable and holds up very well. I want to draw attention to myself again, show what I can do and who I am. Hartberg is the perfect address for that. You trust me, I trust the club. I think we can be successful together. That's the most important thing!"

Erich Korherr , chairman and managing director: “Donis has already shown what potential he has. We are convinced that he will continue to strengthen us offensively. He has had turbulent years. In the conversations, however, I immediately noticed that he is really looking forward to the task and is already in the starting blocks with a lot of passion and commitment. It is also positive that he already knows some of the players from his storm past very well. "
