Leeds United have emerged favourites to land Rangers winger Ryan Kent on a permanent deal after Steven Gerrard’s side crashed out of the Champions League qualification stages against Swedish side Malmo. According to The Athletic, The Liverpool academy player has been scouted regularly by Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
He was also offered to join last season by Leeds, but any offer was rejected by the Scottish club. The 24-year-old earned great interest from a host of clubs last season as he bagged in 13 goals and 15 assists throughout the campaign.
