SERIE A - Spezia sign Hristov from Fiorentina
Petko Hristov is a new Spezia Calcio's player.
The Bulgarian defender arrives permanently from ACF Fiorentina, and has signed a four-year agreement with the club in via Melara. Born in 1999, Hristov took his first steps in the world of football in Slavia Sofia, the team with which he made his debut in the Bulgarian top league.
In the summer of 2017 he was bought by Fiorentina, where he became one of the pillars of the Primavera team, then the experiences in Serie C with Ternana and Bisceglie, before the important season with Pro Vercelli, topped off with 36 appearances and 2 goals.
At just 21, Hristov also boasts 4 senior national team appearances. Debut on March 31, 2021 against Northern Ireland, then three other appearances against Slovakia, France and Russia.
