Simon Kjaer extends contract with AC Milan
AC Milan formalized this Wednesday evening the extension of its central defender Simon Kjaer until 2024. The Danish international (117 caps, 5 goals) is rewarded for his very good start to the season with the Rossoneri, current Serie leaders A, by becoming one of the key players in the team coached by Stefano Pioli. He is also in the list of the 30 players nominated for the Ballon d'Or France Football 2021.
Arrived in Milan in July 2020 from Sevilla FC for less than 4 million euros, Simon Kjaer quickly established himself in the Lombard central defense, with 31 starts out of 39 matches played last year. This is also the case this season since he shares the hinge with the Englishman Fikayo Tomori.
