SERIE A - Inter Milan, Dimarco: "We’re working ourselves to the bone"

More and more of a cornerstone for Inter Milan, currently running Serie A third ranking position, behind Napoli and AC Milan, almost 24-year old left-back and wide midfielder Federico Dimarco, who managed to fit in really well into Simone Inzaghi's 3-5-2 system, stated:

"We knew that it would be a tough game, and it was. We conceded a goal through a penalty, these things happen. What was important was how we reacted after the break. These three points are vital and mean a lot to us, and count for a lot going into the international break.

Generally speaking we’re on the right track, we’re undefeated so far in the league. While it’s true to say we could’ve done better than draw against Sampdoria and Atalanta we’re definitely doing things right. We’re working ourselves to the bone, and now we’ve got a few weeks before we face Lazio.

I can’t put into words how much of a dream come true it is for me to play for Inter, the team I support. As for getting an Italy call-up, I’ll keep working hard at Inter, and see what happens".
