Jose Mourinho's Roma were thrashed 6-1 by Bodo/Glimt in the Europa Conference League on Thursday. The Norwegian champions' fans are known for bringing enormous yellow toothbrushes to games.

Bodo/Glimt upset the Italian heavyweights, who labored in temperatures of two degrees on an artificial surface deep inside the Arctic Circle, in their 11th European game of the season.

The Norwegians' Erik Botheim scored a hat-trick, with captain Patrick Berg, Ola Solbakken, and Amahl Pellegrino adding to Mourinho's anguish.

Last season, Bodo/Glimt won the Norwegian championship for the first time in their 104-year history.

Because of their habit of waving huge yellow toothbrushes in the stands, their fans have become something of a curiosity in the sport.

Carlos Perez scored a consolation goal for Roma, who had won their opening two Group C games, scoring eight goals and conceding only one.
