SERIE A - Milan fans pays tribute to victims of Covid-19 pandemic
There's no denying that the Covid-19 pandemic had a significant impact on Italy, especially as it began in the northern region of the country and spread quickly throughout Europe. With this in mind, the Curva Sud set up a few banners to draw attention to it.
“For those who battled, and did not make it. For those who fought on the front line to save the country. We pay tribute to all those by dedicating the most important display of the season to them,” the banners read.
The match in which these banners were displayed is still ongoing as of writing with AC Milan and Inter Milan both held in a draw.
