SERIE A - Napoli boss Spalletti: "I'm proud of my players"
Commenting upon Napoli defeating Legia Warszaw in latest Europa League match, on Polish territory, by a 4-1 outcome, Italian giants boss Luciano Spalletti stated:
"It was a great job all round - the lads produced exactly what I was looking for,” the coach commented following the final whistle. Europa League is important to us and we showed that tonight. This will become a fantastic competition and we want to be involved in it.
You can call it rotation if you want; I say we have a competitive squad with players who can produce strong, quality performances in every game. This is a team that needs everyone playing and doing their bit. I'm proud of my players. They're capable of adapting to whatever the game throws at them.
If anyone had any doubts about my team's commitment tonight, I think we dispelled them. We have everything we need to battle in every match. I congratulated each and every one of them tonight because it was an exemplary display”.
