SERIE A - Napoli interested in Villarreal's Left back

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli are in talks with Villarreal's left back Pervis Estupinan. 23 year old Ecuador INT, recently played in Copa America 21 where he played all 5 games for them. He started his club career with LDU Quito in 2015 before moving to Watford in 2016 where he didn't play a single game for them & was loaned 4 times to La Liga with Granada, Almeria, Mallorca & Osasuna for 4 successive seasons. At Osasuna, he was on a 2 Year loan deal but in 2020 Villarreal signed him for £15M in summer. He played 34 games for them last season & also won the Europa League. He also played in the Super Cup last week vs CFC.

Emery has already got two left backs with Moreno & Pedraza but don't want to sell Ecuadorian. Napoli management have opened talks with Spanish club for him but still no agreement has been made yet. Pervis signed a 7 Year contract & still has 6 years remaining. According to various sources WHU are said to be interested too but no progress yet. Napoli board wants to give Luciano a new LB & he is considered a priority by the manager. Some reports in Naples suggest that Olympiakos is seriously considering bringing in Manlos this window.
