SERIE A - Inter, Nandez hands in transfer request, deal imminent
According to a new report by Italian outlet FCInterNews.com, Inter seem to be close to completing a deal for Cagliari's Nahitan Nandez.
The Uruguayan in fact, seems to have handed a formal transfer request to Cagliari's management, as he's reportedly agreed to personal terms with the nerazzurri. Nandez is set to earn 3M Euros per year on a four year deal, according to sources close to the Milan club. Inter now will have to find an agreement with Cagliari for the sale, but Marotta is confident that he can finalize the operation in two weeks at the most. Radja Nainggolan could be a player that is included in the deal in order to bring down cash considerations, as Inter are financially tight at the moment. The Belgian already spent last season with Cagliari on loan, and this team he could stay on a permanent deal.
Nandez joined Cagliari from Boca Juniors in 2019. In two years on the Italian island he appeared in 67 matches across all competitions, scoring 4 goals. He's also represented Uruguay at the senior level 41 times since 2015, not scoring any goals.
