Following considerable midfield bolstering so far this summer after the arrivals of Pablo Rosario, Calvin Stengs and Mario Lemina, the turnover of talent at OGC Nice looks set to continue with many an option being considered by the club’s recruitment department to add to all areas of the squad.

One player close to moving away from the south of France, however, is young defensive midfielder Khéphren Thuram, report L‘Équipe. Thuram, the younger brother of Borussia Mönchengladbach striker, Marcus, and son of 1998 World Cup winner, Lilian, is garnering interest from Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

Contracted until 2022, the 20-year-old, who was often a fringe player at the Allianz Riviera last season under Adrian Ursea, wants to move to the Bundesliga and discussions between the clubs have intensified in recent days.
