ARSENAL, Arteta praises David Luiz as he annouces his departure

After David Luiz’s announce to leave Arsenal at the end of the season, Gunners coach Mikel Arteta praises the difender and support his decision: “He’s a player who has won everything in football and has earned every right to do so through who he is as a player and as a person. “I had the privilege to work with him for 18 months. I really enjoyed it. I think we got on really good. I think we had some great moments together”, Arteta said.

The 34-year-gold will end his contract this summer and will depart the Emirates Stadium after two years in north London. His decision came after suffering a hamstring injury in the recent win at Newcastle. The brazilian football player have made 73 appearances across all competitions since joining from rivals Chelsea. Luiz has spent two seasons with Chelsea in which time he has won the Premier League, the Champions League, two FA Cups and two Europa League titles.
