The cooperation bond between a manager and a club nearly ends for two more years. Pep Guardiola has already decided his future to leave Premier League giant, Manchester City.

The former midfielder was already known for his service in winning many trophies. Since 2008 until now, he has managed three big clubs which are Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and the City.

At the time with Barca, the Spaniard was able to win 14 titles including two Champions Leagues. He also won seven with Bayern Munich and 10 trophies when in the Premier League club.

Unfortunately, Pep Guardiola cannot repeat his success in Barcelona after only winning the domestic league with Manchester City. However, he looks like going to end his career in the Etihad Stadium for two more seasons, according to Reuters.

"The Next step will be the national team, if there is a possibility. After seven years at this club, I think I'm going to have a break," said Guardiola.

"I will need to rest after being somewhere for so many years and also stop to evaluate what we've done and to try to learn from other coaches."

"If, during this process of stopping, there is a chance to coach a national team, then I think I'd like that. I'd like to coach at the European Championship or Copa America or World Cup. I'd like to experience that."

Together with Manchester City, Pep Guardiola has already contributed three Premier League titles. After the end of the contract in 2023, the 50-year-old seems to have a chance to become Spain National team manager.
