PREMIER - Arsenal, progress on Odegaard, another bid for Ramsdale

Arsenal appear to be moving closer to a deal to sign Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard. According to The Independent, the player’s agents have arrived in London for talks ahead of a proposed move to sign the midfielder.
Spanish outlet AS say Carlo Ancelotti is willing to sell Odegaard after falling out of favour with the Italian coach.
The 22-year-old was reportedly left out of Saturday’s squad for Real Madrid’s 4-1 win over Alaves in La Liga after making it clear he wanted to be guaranteed a place in the first-team.
Arsenal also preparing another bid for Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, according to The Sheffield Star.
The outlet report the fee could be in the region of £28million, which falls short of the Blades £40million asking price.
Ramsdale has been a target for Mikel Arteta’s side all summer and would provide competition for current No.1 goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
