PREMIER - Emiliano Martínez: I play the PlayStation to distract myself

Emiliano Martnez was a key figure in Argentina's victory at the Copa America this summer. Lionel Messi's first international triumph was aided by the Aston Villa goalie.

Martnez talked about what he did the night before the crucial encounter against Brazil ahead of the final match. Sebas Fernández, 29, said that he spent the night playing video games in an interview with Youtuber Sebas Fernández.

“The truth is that every night I give the PlayStation. Two hours. It’s my space, my time to distract myself. Before the game, I did that and went to play. It helps me to think about something else,” Martínez said.

“Before the final with Brazil, I played myself a couple of maps. After a while, I went to play the game. It helps me think about something else, not being on the phone all day, it relaxes me, and it amuses me.”
