SERIE A - AC Milan closing on Adli after Kessie's injury

Franck Kessie, close to the start of the championship, is likely to miss at least the first 2 days with Sampdoria and Cagliari due to a strained right thigh flexor (he would return only with Lazio in September, also skipping the national team).

Milan, at the moment, do not seem willing to look for replacements in a great hurry, but a replacement for Kessie must be found regardless, especially considering that the player will also be missing in January for the Africa Cup.

The main name is Yacine Adli who could already play against Sampdoria (with the transfer still in progress). Furthermore, we are thinking about the stay of Tommaso Pobega, 22 years old and destined for La Spezia but that could be useful, given the many commitments foreseen during the season.

In the meantime, however, Kessie is also preparing to renew the contract, which expires in 2022: in the last hours she met Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara with the intention of extending before 23 August and the Rossoneri debut in Genoa.
