SERIE A - Lazio still unsure about new manager
After Simone Inzaghi's sudden departure for Inter Milan shocked Lazio's world, team president Claudio Lotito and sporting director Igli Tare are looking for their new manager.
Among the names circulating, an experienced, old-school manager like Walter Mazzarri and former Lazio player Sinisa Mihajlovic, currently coaching Serie A side Bologna.
Now, according to Nicolò Schira, we can add another name to the mix, as former Borussia Dortmund and OGC Nice manager Lucien Favre was suggested to Lazio's brass as a good fit for the team.
Favre, 63, coached in his native Switzerland winning two Swiss Super League titles with FC Zurich before moving to german Bundesliga, where he coached Hertha BSC and Borussia Moenchengladbach. After a couple of seasons in France with OGC Nice, he went back to Bundesliga coaching Borussia Dortmund, finishing second behind Bayern Munich in his first two seasons.
