LIGA - Betis Sevilla is on the trail for German Pezzella

In a new report by Tuttomercatoweb, it was revealed that Betis are targeting Fiorentina's center-back German Pezzella for a possible return to La Liga.

According to sources close to the Viola and the player's entourage, Betis has reportedly already made an official offer to Fiorentina for the player. This would be a return to Sevilla for Pezzella, as he already spent two seasons with Betis from 2015 to 2017, making a total of 61 league appearances with 4 goals. Betis is looking for an experienced defender to shore up their back third of the pitch, and the Argentine seems to fit their profile perfectly. 

Pezzella has become one of Fiorentina's mainstays since joining the club in 2017, making 131 appearances for the gigliati in this timespan, while scoring 7 goals. He has also represented Argentina at the international level 23 times since 2017.
