Lisandro Lopez goes back home to Racing

As announced on the club's official Twitter account, Racing de Avellaneda have signed striker Lisandro Lopez.

Lopez is a product of Racing's youth academy, so this is a long-awaited return for him, after he left the club to join Porto at 22. He had a lot of success while in European football, amassing 143 caps and  63 goals in Portugal, before joining Lyon, where he scored 82 times. After leaving Lyon, he played in Qatar, Brasil and the USA, until he decided it was time to come home and rejoining the side that saw him grow as a footballer.
