David Luiz likely to join Sarri's Lazio

David Luiz may rejoin with Maurizio Sarri this season at Lazio, with the free agent also eyeing Benfica and Flamengo. The transfer deadline in Italy has already gone, although teams may still sign out-of-contract players.
According to Sportitalia transfer analyst Alfredo Pedulla, David Luiz wants to stay in Europe and will think twice about accepting Flamengo's offer.
He is also desired by Turkey and Benfica, but Lazio offers an intriguing alternative, and there has been some communication.
Sarri has already worked with the Brazilian centre-back at Chelsea and values his international experience, which is presently missing in the Lazio defense.
David Luiz, who turned 34 in April, was let go by Arsenal when his contract ended on June 30.
He has 57 senior caps for Brazil, scoring three goals, and has also played for Vitoria, Benfica, and Paris Saint-Germain.
