FK Krasnodar CEO: "Jhon Cordoba wasn't that expensive"

Signed by FK Krasnodar two months ago, from Hertha Berlin, 28-year old Colombian striker Jhon Cordoba was rumoured as the most expensive hit ever for Russian club, on a 15 million euros transfer fee, add-ons not included. Through his latest words released to international media, as reported by championat.com, Krasnodar managing director and CEO Vladimir Khashig denied that sum being so high:
"That's not true. How did the media get the information that our association bought Córdoba for such an amount? I officially declare that FK Krasnodar have acquired striker Jhon Córdoba for 10.5 million euros, plus small bonuses in case the club does well in European competitions. That is the sum, and only it corresponds to reality".
So far, Cordoba, previously playing for FC Köln, Mainz 05, Granada (as depicted above), and Espanyol, scored five goal across six Russian Premier League games played.
