Likely to leave Valencia for good, Spanish international left-back and Los Che captain José Gayà is to date meant to join either Atletico Madrid or Barcelona FC. Turning 26 on May 25, many seasons at a proper level of performing, even in spite of the team hardships, are paying off indeed.

Still on a deal with Valencia until June 2023, Gayà is allegedly meant to be traded on an about 35 million euros fee. Capping 13 times for Spain so far, with 2 goals scored, the player, also suitable as a wingback, a wide midfielder, and, if needed, even as a centre-back, was previously pursued by a whole bunch of clubs around Europe, including Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Juventus, and Napoli.
