BARCELONA - set for summer spending spree
Barcelona are ready to make a huge splash in the summer transfer window, reports the Daily Express. New Barca boss Xavi is understood to be keen to add Erling Haaland, Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta and Franck Kessie to his squad, along with Ajax full-back Noussair Mazraoui.
Barcelona is looking to take advantage of the free-transfer market this offseason, and among their top priorities will be the Chelsea duo, both of whom are set to see their contracts expire at the end of the season. Christensen has long been rumored with a move to Barca at the end of his contract, and it seems he plans to follow through with his intentions of joining the club this summer. Azpilicueta, a Spanish international, has also been rumored to be interested in making the move once he’s a free agent.
