Benfica, Lukebakio heading for exit as club want permanent sale
Dodi Lukebakio could leave Benfica in the final days of the transfer window. The Portuguese club are understood to be willing to part company with the Belgium winger, but only on one clear condition: any deal must be permanent, with no opening for a loan move.
Reports emerged yesterday suggesting Beşiktaş were interested in Lukebakio and ready to offer around €20m to sign him. According to Record, however, that version of events does not reflect the current reality.
There is also a market development that strengthens that line. Yesterday, the Istanbul club officially confirmed the arrival of Poku from Bayer Leverkusen. The Dutchman is an attacking player who, like Lukebakio, can operate out wide.
For now, then, there is no confirmation of Beşiktaş making a move for the Benfica winger.
