Randal Kolo Muani to Juventus: Deal could rise to €48m with bonuses
Juventus have finally secured the signing of Randal Kolo Muani after pursuing the forward for several months. The Bianconeri always had the player's backing, with Kolo Muani making it clear after the end of his loan spell at Tottenham that he wanted to return to Continassa and wear the Juventus shirt once again.
Breakthrough in talks
Negotiations gathered pace on Tuesday evening, with Juventus determined to wrap up the deal before the end of the month. Their improved offer convinced Paris Saint-Germain to sanction the move after the French champions had initially held out for €50m. If all the performance-related bonuses are met, Juventus' final package could come close to matching PSG's asking price.
Financial details
Kolo Muani will join Juventus on an initial paid loan worth €4m, with a conditional obligation to buy for a further €34m should the club qualify for European competition next season. That would take the guaranteed value of the transfer to €38m. The agreement also includes up to €10m in add-ons. Of that total, €4m is considered relatively easy to achieve, while the remaining €6m depends on more demanding performance targets. If every bonus is triggered, the overall value of the transfer could rise to €48m.
