Jonathan David could be offered a route back to Ligue 1, with Paris FC showing concrete interest in the Juventus striker as the final days of the summer transfer window approach. According to information gathered by TMW, the French club are assessing the possibility of signing the Canada international, who has struggled to establish himself as a key figure in Turin since arriving from Lille on a free transfer in the summer of 2025.

The interest is particularly significant given Paris FC's position in the market. French reports had already linked David with the capital club earlier this month, and the possibility of another centre-forward arriving at Jean-Bouin has gathered momentum following Ciro Immobile's surprise retirement.

Paris FC leave the door open for another striker
Paris FC had appeared to have completed the bulk of their summer business, with sporting director Marco Neppe expressing satisfaction with the squad assembled for Liam Rosenior. However, the situation in attack remains less settled. L'Équipe reported earlier this week that the club would be prepared to act if an attractive opportunity emerged for a centre-forward before the deadline. Red Bull currently own 10.6% of Paris FC, while the Arnault family retain control of the project. The club have therefore been able to approach the final days of the market from a position of relative strength rather than necessity.
